Reporting CPE's
VGI Certificate holders can report CPE activities throughout the year, as soon as the course is completed. If you report CPE Activities throughout the year, the remaining CPE requirement will be available using the Manage CPE's link from the My VGI main menu. To report and manage CPE Activities, use the CPE Management Tool link located in the Resource Menu.
Please remember to retain all proof of credits earned throughout the CPE certificate three-year cycle as VGI may require full verification of earned CPE's. All VGI Certified professionals will be expected to provide evidence that they have met their annual CPE requirements if asked to do so.
Required CPE Records
In general, the following records are required when reporting CPE Credits:
- Certificates of completion from the CPE sponsor including the sponsor name, participant’s name, course/content name, dates taken, and CPE hours earned when attending a seminar, educational conference or completing a self-study course.
- Official transcript of the college or university for earning course credit at an accredited institution.
- Copy of published article, book or written material (or proof of publication) when producing written material used by individuals who provide services to the public or to or on behalf of an employer.
- Signed document with NGO letterhead detailing volunteer, dates, hours, and work performed.
