VGI Approved CPE Activities

CPE's are issued in the form of credits for participating in field-specific activities where the main goal is to expand one's knowledge and experience. These activities are typically external from one's job or normal employment in the form of specific training, attending conference breakout sessions, etc.

CPE Credits


VGI issues credits based on the activity type, the activity content, and duration of the activity. The activity types shown below are the current accepted activities and their corresponding credits which can be earned for each activity:

  • Academic Coursework

    Academic Coursework is any respective course/class presented by an accredited collage or educational center awarding standard semester credit hours (SCH) per semester. Qualifying courses provide CPE credits based on: Course relevancy, Course duration, and course grade. Example: 20-40 CPE credits are possible for a standard 3 credit course and a final Grade of: (C=20,BC=25,B=30,AB=35,A=40).
